Contributed papers

Contributed papers will be organized in parallel sessions.
Each session will have a thematic focus and will feature several paper presentations, each followed by a short discussion.

Contributed posters

Contributed posters will be grouped into thematic sessions to be held during designated extended coffee/tea breaks.
Poster sessions will be chaired, and the poster presenters are expected to briefly present their poster in the designated session.
Presenters will have to bring their poster to the conference in printed form (A0 Size, Portrait/ Vertical Orientation) .
Posters will have to be mounted to the indicated poster boards in the morning of the session day and be removed before 6 pm on the same day (remaining posters will be discarded).

Organized symposia

Organized symposia are contributed sessions on a specific theme of interest to a broad audience. Most symposia include several short presentations on the session theme, followed by a moderated discussion.

Inclusion in conference program

All presenters of papers, posters, and symposia have to be registered for ICAE 2024 by 15 June 2024 for their submissions to be included in the conference program.

Publication

There will be no proceedings volume for ICAE 2024, in which all contributed papers, posters, and symposium presentations will be published. However, authors of accepted contributed papers can submit their final papers for online publication in AgEconSearch in the IAAE/ICAE section (details are communicated individually with authors of accepted papers). These online publications count as manuscript pre-prints without copyright transfer and are voluntary. Thematic collections of conference contributions can be organized by interested parties but will have to seek explicit permission from the authors.

For details and timing of all sessions, please consult the conference program app (available from July 2024).
